How To Practice Emotional First Aid


Emotional first aid? Feeling bad or being depressed? Or are you really feeling unpleasant with yourself or in your system, that's Emotional pain, and i think you probably should get to the end of this article maybe you can find solace.

Emotional pain or mental pain is an unpleasant feeling or suffering of a non-physical origin. Emotional pain can become an addiction to some people overwhelmed with feelings like sadness, depression, guilt, shame, or fear, these emotions becomes so common and constant that they felt its part of them and they cant just imagine life without it.

The more we can do this, the more our bodies will reveal their truth to us instead of instead of actually trying to avoid pain. We can meet it with kindness and curiosity. Now there are ways to cure emotional pain but let us quickly go in to some first aid to mental pains

1.KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE DEALING WITH: Each time we had a breakdown, sadness or even bad feeling, the body signaled it has suffered an emotional injury. If you understand s the body language, you at this time needs to swung into action. Therefore, simply recognize you're suffering from emotional pain and quickly finds something to do about it before it envelops you.


2.INTERCHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS: Each time you had a bad experience or you had a disagreement with someone and you're thinking about it when you're alone, you are tend to be more injured as you start to think negatively towards the event. Now try to distract yourself by engaging in thoughts of a different happenings, You can think of your happy moments with family and friends, just interchange bad thoughts with good thoughts.

3.CONTROL YOUR GUILT: When things happen, it's good to feel guilty as it is aimed at helping us find solution to the problem. But don't be engulfed by the guilt, too much of guilt might make you stay away from other things and can hinder your happiness. Think of a solution, if apologizing is it, then apologize and make sure you're forgiven and then dissolve your guilt, this way you can move on.


4.TALK TO PEOPLE: Each time you're rejected, shamed, sad or feeling bad about current happenings, i'll probably suggests you find someone to talk to, your trusted family and friends are best at this moment.

5.STAY AROUND PEOPLE: Being alone wouldn't solve your problem, it would only deepens your negative thoughts, so instead of staying away from people, you probably need to be around them. Not necessary you talk, just be around people, this way you can get distracted from wrong thoughts and dead emotions


6.RECOGNIZE YOUR CURE: Now you probably knows you eat when you're hungry, rest when you're tired and amusement when it's boring, same as you should knows what will make you overcome your emotional pain when you encounter it.

7.AVOID DRUG ADDICTION: Avoid developing love for addiction to drugs when you are struggling with pain, drugs are not what you probably need to deal directly with emotions that borders you.

8. SEE A THERAPIST OR A COUNSELOR: A therapist or a counselor would be a great help as they are expert and can see directly where you're getting it wrong and quickly attacks it.

9. READ SELF HELP BOOKS: You can get books, journals, or magazine that talks about emotional pain, read them an you can start to get tutored on how to overcome your pains.

10. BE YOUR OWN ANGEL: Heaven helps those who help themselves so says the scriptures, the whole world may try to help solve your problems but will fail if you fail to help yourself. Be ready to break out of your bondage.
